    Introduction:

    Hey ya! Can you smell the festive season in Malaysia? Hari Raya is just around the corner. Here's a good suggestion if you are still wondering where to dine after fasting hour. Enak KL, a perfect venue to dine in for an authentic fine dining Malay cuisine.

    Ambiance:

    A cozy restaurant with dim lighting and intimate ambiance. The restaurant would be a vibrant hangout spot to catch up with family and friends. Enak KL's interior boasts a simple red decor with pleasing contemporary settings that provides a sophistication of fine dining experience of Malay cuisine.

    Starter Emping Melinjo- complementary

    Enak KL Appetiser Tasting Menu @ MYR 32.00
    A delicious trio of deep fried squid, grilled prawn with tart fruit concoction and Balla balla, vegetables curl in light batter accompanied with sweet chilli sauce.


       

    Mutton Soup  @ MYR 22.00
    Succulent juicy lamb in a rich savoury soup falvoured with crushed coriander seeds, fennel, cummin and cardamon topped with spring onion and parsley. Mutton soup here is now listed in my top list. It's great!

    Ikan Asam Pedas (Fish) @ MYR 34.00
    Traditional chilli hot asam pedas with melt in the mouth butterfish with finely sliced wild ginger torch bud, laksa leaf and freshly ground black pepper. Delicious!


       

    Ayam Percik (Chicken) @ MYR 25.00
    Chicken roasted in a marinade of galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk. Tasted good but need to serve warm.

    Asparagus Goreng Belacan @ MYR 15.00
    Fresh and tender asparagus sauteed with flavoured chilli shrimp




    Enak Dessert Tasting Menu @ MYR 18.00
    A medley of traditional desserts- Bubur Pulut Hitam, Cendol Enak and Sago Gula Melaka. Comes in small portion, a trio combination if you would like to try it all!

    Wrap up:

    A gracious grab from livingsocial.com. A voucher of MYR 35.00 with MYR 80.00 to spend on food and drinks. Enak KL, is a perfect place for a leisurely dining of authentic Malay cuisine. The warm atmosphere of the restaurant and welcoming attendants made my day. Service was patient, polite and discrete. Quality and authentic flavors alongside with intimating ambiance will keep patrons coming back for more.

    Introduction:

    Afternoon tea, one of my favorite weekend activities. Just sit back and enjoy a cup or two with some dessert or snacks. And my recent explorations concentrate more in Starhill Gallery. Starhill Tea Salon, one of the first tea salons in Kuala Lumpur.


    Ambiance:

    Grouping the tea salon as an elegant place to sit in and relax. Although it's located at Indulge Floor with two seperate seating sections, the quiet and relaxing settings provides a pretty relaxing environment. Huge pillar decorated with colourful tea tins and the comfy sofa seatings deserves a praise.

    Starhill Tea Salon serves variety of exclusive tea blends as well as interesting desserts ranging from macarons to beautiful cum delicious cake delights.

    Wrap up:

    At times, I find it interesting to sit down, enjoy a cup or two and purely watching people. Life is just interesting. Alright, too much craps from me. And yes, I like Starhill Tea Salon. Indeed, it's a good place to hang out and enjoy various kind of exclusive exoctic tea from all over the world. Also, thumbs up to their flavorful cakes that brighten up my day. Am already planning for a revisit.

    Introduction:

    Something Spanish? Yes, for me! So besides La Bodega, here is another favorite place of mine for Spanish Food and Sangria. In fact, Sentidos is always in my preferred list. Sentidos has been operating for years and it's one of the award winning restaurants for best tapas.


    Ambiance:

    A rosy and yet chicky designed restaurant with red tone, warm hues and Spanish decorative definitely creates a comfortable environment to the dining pleasures at Sentidos.

    Food & Beverages:

    Sentidos offers a good number of classic tapas choices, from hot to cold appetisers and several paellas that fills your fancy. And they serve over 30 wines, draught beers and non-alcoholic drinks too.


    Red Sangria @ RM 25.00
    Red Sangria, voted best in town. It's a good start with a fruity sangria but a stronger pour of wine would be perfect! That's for me!

       


    Lamb Meat Balls @ RM 16.00
    Savory lamb meatballs with absolute tenderness. Rich & flavorful!

    Grilled Baby Octopus @ Rm 15.00
    Well marinated and grilled to perfection. Like the rich meltingly tender taste of the marinated baby octopus.



       


    Spinach & Jalapeno Tortilla @ RM 15.00
    Something new for me. Rich, tasty and filling. With no doubt, its a good try!

    Garlic Prawns @ RM 18.00
    Aromatic succulent prawns in garlic sauce. With a little dash of spiciness, it's simply pleasing!

       


    Paprika Queen Scallop @ RM 6.00/piece
    Extremely fresh and juicy scallop with paprika emulsion.

    Paella Seafood @ RM 48.00
    Spanish safron rice specialty with a generous dose of clams, prawns, squid and mussel. The variety of seafood adding its own flavour and texture to the rice dish. Enjoyed this exciting and mouth watering dish.


    Wrap up:

    Now that I am craving for a glass of Sangria and some tapas! Not easy to be a food blogger though. Always, craving for more, especially the good ones that I have tried. Sentidos, is one of the restraurants in Kuala Lumpur that offers savoury tapas. Indeed, it's a great place to hang out!
